EXPERT RESOURCES YOU CAN COUNT ON

About Rockwood Energy Search, LLC

With the advent of energy storage and the fast-dropping output prices of wind and solar, the economics of power production are changing rapidly. The size and distribution of energy storage, too, is just getting started so change is accelerating.

These trends will change the types of companies involved, the jobs, their location and compensation throughout the business. We are changing to meet the related recruiting challenges.

As a very early member of the energy recruiting community, Rockwood Energy Search has gone through multiple evolutions of the energy jobs world.  Now, it's all about renewable energy jobs.  Rockwood Energy Search has seen how energy efficiency jobs, for example, have changed from  simple energy performance activities to distributed energy projects.

Another example is found among solar energy jobs.  The business started with either residential solar or utility-scale solar.  Now, Community Solar has appeared as an alternative ot residential solar.  It's relatively easy to permit since communties see the power generated by the solar field array coming to their own town, not being exported to the wholesale energy power grid.

Hence, there are more intermediate-level solar permitting jobs where less-experienced people can learn more quickly, even remain in their own region to work on 1-5 MW solar generation units.
